WE’RE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE EXTENDING OUR 6TH ANNUAL 2023 HOLIDAY MARKET AT THE SNOCROSS NATIONALS AT MT. ZION SATURDAY OF DECEMBER 16TH 2023.

NoEL HOLIDAY MARKET APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR INSTRUCTIONS.

APPLICATIONS WILL CLOSE ON DECEMBER 12TH AT 11:59 P.M.

We are drawing inspiration from outdoor holiday markets similar to other well-known events such as the Winter Village in NYC’s Bryant Park and Winter Wonderland in London’s Hyde Park. To bring a similar holiday experience to Ironwood, we are working closely with several important city groups including ISOC, SnoCross, City of Ironwood, Travel Ironwood, Cold Iron Brewing, and numerous restaurants and businesses in the Gogebic and Iron Range.

This Holiday Market is an incredible opportunity to showcase your brand, as well as for all of us to be a part of what will hopefully become a major annual event for Ironwood.

The confirmed dates/times of the 2023 SnoCross Holiday Market are as follows:

  • Saturday, December 16th from 2—6PM

We understand that you will likely have a few questions - as such, we have listed below our initial answers to several anticipated questions about the overall event:

  • Vendor Booth Fees

    • Application fees will be as follows:

      • Booth—> $10 per applicant.

      • (Unless you were a NoEL Holiday market participant, then the fee is waved)

  • Tables

    • To ensure for the security of you and your products, applicants will be responsible for their own booth set-up. Vendors will be responsible for setting up their booth displays (we encourage holiday themed decorations) and must provide their own table and/or fixtures.

    • Tables can be rented for $10/table on a first come first serve basis by emailing NorthernElvesFestival@gmail.com

  • Applications/Participation

    • All vendors can apply, However, there is limited availability for the booth spaces, .

    • Once booth spots are full, contact us to be put on the waiting list if you’d still like to be considered for an opening.

    • If you reserve a booth space and fail to show up, please contact us so your future participation in the Northern Elves Holiday Market is not affected negatively.

    • If you fail to arrive on the date of the event by opening, your spot may be given up to another applicant on the waiting list.

    • A diagram of the layout will be provided to vendors prior to the December 16TH event date and after the Dec 12TH application deadline.

  • Hours of the Event

    • The exact hours for the event are as follows:

      • SATURDAY:

        • NOON—2PM (vendor set up)

        • 2—6PM MARKET IS OPEN !

        • 6—7PM (vendor take down)

    • - - - earlier set up times may be considered by request.

  • Weather

    • Indoor/Outdoor event. This will be a rain-snow-or-shine market. Plan accordingly.

  • Power

    • Our goal is to deliver power to each booth by requests of the vendor as needed for lighting and other electrical needs. Feel free to jazz up your booth with a little “extra.”

  • Attendee Logistics

    • We will have multiple entrances, booths, and other activations throughout the holiday market layout, in order to create an experience similar to European Holiday Christmas markets. The Northern Elves Holiday Market will be held at the Gogebic Community College Mount Zion Ski Hill property. The Market will be open Saturday, December 16th, from 2—6PM. 

  • Parking

    • Shuttle Parking lots and Designated Public Lot parking is free and available to all vendors and attendees at a first come first serve basis.
